Me:  Spirit, I have decided to share what I channel from you each of several days a week over the internet so that others will have access and may immediately utilize anything that might be of benefit to them.
Spirit:We heartily endorse this decision.  Your purpose and our's are one, to assist each individual  to achieve health, wealth and happiness.  The founding fathers of your states which have become united allowed themselves to be guided in that direction. We will gladly have our messages shared.  It is always good when one is willing to become what your new president is identifying as "transparent".  We say transparency is simply another way of saying that if you are behaving with integrity and concern for self and others, you have nothing to hide, a very old and very true concept.  However,  we also think it takes courage to reveal to others what your personal concerns are.
Me: Thank you, Spirit.  Yes, it does take courage. I have to say that it is going to be hard to admit over the internet that my world isn't perfect and that I need help just like the next person.  But I do believe  if I am willing to define personal growth as the ability to accept where I am and talk openly, I then seem to be able to move on more quickly. That seems to directly or indirectly influence others in a positive way.
Spirit: Amen to that.
Me:My questions for today are embarrassing because they concern money.  Now that this channeling is a public blog I seem to have some self-consciousness in admitting I want to know more about getting money.  I know I fear being thought of, therefore, as mercinary and greedy. I guess that's my first concern.  And the second one is equally embarrassing.  I know that each time in my life that I have felt I wasn't and needed to be generating income, income seemed to happen only after I first decided I had to volunteer, to give of my time and talent away.  Now I have started this blog, which means dedicating a goodly portion of time some of the days and which speaks of my ability (talent, skill?) to have contact with You. I am volunteering to share this freely with others.  Okay, so where am I going, moneywise?
Spirit: We are happy to address your concerns.  In the first concern, although we know that you have been working hard for a long time to embrace the concept, as taught by Unity Church, Abraham and a host of metaphysical teachers, that abundance, and that includes material wealth, money, obtained for self does not take away money, wealth, what have you, from others.  Rather it increases the possibilty that others will follow suit.  Abundance for one actually creates abundance for others.  You have noticed greedy people interrupting the natural flow of abundance and you have thought of the interruption as the true nature of wealth.  We say it is not the truth nor is greediness the way.  Greed does not lead to fulfillment for that individual.  It is at best great self-deception.  How can you experience the fruits of your labors if you are deceiving yourself?  All deception, all lack of willingness to be aware when you are not serving others at least as much as you are serving self, creates a barrier to your appreciation of what you have.  We say that some heads of companies, poor souls, who have been discovered pouring money into frivilous gifts to self of expensive bathrooms and adornments and such, have almost been forced by their own closing down within self to go that far trying to experience abundance.   Yet we say poor souls for a reason.  They may say they enjoy.  We say blessed are the poor for they own the kingdom.  Your poet who said you can hold eternity in the palm of your hand was telling a big truth.  True abundance, arrived at fairly can not by it's very definition hurt others, actually it helps others, causes others to have abundance and in its creation provides deep and warmly satisfying pleasure.   We look at some the truly wealthy in your world reaching out to help others, such as the entity known as Buffet or the entity known as Gates or the entity known as Bono, and when we see their auras, how much more pleasant to view than, say, some of the energy or financial magnates or potentates bent on proving how happy they with their success with lavish, selfish displays of wealth.  Are these latter not the kind of wealthy entities mentioned by Jesus in his talks?  And so we leave you with these awarenesses, as your psychic readers say, for future contemplation.
Your second concern surely follows this same direction, this way of truth.  We say it is not always necessary that the need to share time and talent precede the arrival of recompense, of money.  Marti, we shall use your new internet vehicle of channeling to tease you a bit, as we have in the past, to remind you that millions of people have actually been employed first and volunteered second, LOL. And we know that the other way around has been a pattern for you in past money acquisition processes.   The sequence is neither bad nor good.  It has been your way sometimes.  We say do what works for you, as long as you stay within the true path of doing for self and at least as much for others in whatever sequence works.   We guarantee that then any abundance derived shall be truly enjoyed, even if, and possibly because, the faucets in your bathrooms are not solid gold, LOL.
